Often times Wednesday nights there is little to do. It is the middle of the week and generally people are just hanging around waiting for the hot weekend to roll around. In Montevideo, however, there is an attractive offer: Salsa night. Roll out to the Azabache Club ("azabache" is a coal black fossil stone used to dispel the evil eye on children). Wednesday nights they will swing to salza! Everybody knows "salsa", or "sauce", a lively, soft, gracious style of latin music that will get you dancing in no time.
